A male heroic character riding cynocephalic (dog-headed) bipede ichthyocaude (fish-tailed) aquatic composite monster makara (?) with a prominent facial gill (stylised beard?), proboscis, muscular, sturdy forelegs, and a piscine homocercal (symmetrical) caudal fin, the creature, iconographically very similar to the Hellenistic-Roman ketos. |
