Figure SSA-ind-075. The anthropomorphic nagas Nanda and Upananda sporting the pentacephalic cobra hoods with the cranial gemstones supporting the lotus pedestal with the nimbate Buddha Shakyamuni sitting atop in padmasana (vajraparyankasana?), holding his hands in dharmachakramudra, and surrounded by multiple sitting and standing clones of himself reaching up the Akanistha Heaven (Thousand Buddhas or Miracle of Multiplication motif, part of the Yamakapratihariya (Twin Miracle or Miracle at Shravasti) tradition); two small figures behind the nagas kneeling in the general attitude of submission, respect and veneration are possibly the defeated Brahmanical sage Purana Kasyapa and King Prasenajit (or, less likely, gods Brahma and Indra?).
