The anthropomorphic nagas Nanda and Upananda sporting the pentacephalic cobra hoods and supporting the lotus pedestals with the nimbate Buddha Shakyamuni sitting atop in padmasana (vajraparyankasana?) and holding his hands in dharmachakramudra (Thousand Buddhas or Miracle of Multiplication motif, part of the Yamakapratihariya (Twin Miracle or Miracle at Shravasti) tradition); the anthropomorphic naga sporting the pentacephalic cobra hood grasping the stem of the lotus flower, held by the Bodhisattva of Compassion Avalokiteshvara in the Padmapani (Lotus Holder) aspect.
