Ophiocaude (serpent-tailed) divine twins, spouses, and culture heroes Nüwa and Fuxi with their squamous (scaly) tales intertwined, carrying gui (compass, symbol of the round sky) and ju (carpenter's square, symbol of the square earth), and surrounded by ophiocaude (serpent-tailed) spirits (immortals?).
